Title Audit & Advisory Senior Manager
Role Recruit Gibraltar are currently helping A financial services client who has a great opportunity for Audit & Advisory Senior Manager to be responsible for ensuring overall operational excellence in maintained. What is the plan for the Audit & Advisory Senior Manager ?

Leading on audit reviews, agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team (including other specialists) and monitoring budgets
Reporting directly to the Audit Partners and keeping them up to date with progress throughout the course of the engagement
Taking ownership of portfolio of audit engagements and acting as key point of contact for clients throughout the year
Attending client planning and audit close meetings
Solving complex technical challenges for our clients and technical support for the Firm
Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills
Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior team members
Direct, train, support and mentor junior members of staff to assist them in the effective delivery and efficient completion of engagements
Handling client relationships, taking responsibility for the day to day project management and delivery of transactions

What do you know that makes you a great Audit & Advisory Senior Manager

Qualified and experienced (ACA/ACCA) individual
FRS 102 and FRS 103 experience
ISA experience
extensive post-qualification experience in audit, including financial services and group audits
Transaction advisory (corporate finance) experience
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, both written and verbal
Audit file review and preparation, both paper file and audit tool
Review and perform walkthroughs and test of controls amongst other audit tests
Resolve technical issues with clients and support Firm on technical matters
Sound knowledge of accounting information systems
Transactional experience with a proven track record of deal execution across all phases of the deal cycle from origination to completion
Ability to manage a team and mentor junior team members

Salary 45,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience and expertise) and benefits package.
